Learn to Dance with Amy Mamos

Have you booked your wedding reception with Fratello’s ~ Weddings in the Millyard? If so, we’d like for you to meet our very own dance instructor to help you in creating a memorable dance right on the very dance floor where your first dance as Mr.  & Mrs. will take place.

Amy Mamos

As a lifelong dance and performer, Amy spent her adolescent years taking jazz, contemporary and creative movement classes. She also enjoyed performing in local area pageants, fashion shows, dance competitions, and musical productions such as Fame, Godspell and Grease.

Amy was introduced to ballroom dance by her father, a nationally awarded ballroom dancer. As a young adult, she moved to Miami (the hottest place for ballroom dancing) and became internationally licensed to teach the Fox Trot, Rhumba, Tango, Waltz, Merengue, Cha-Cha, Samba, Mambo, Hustle, Swing and Viennese Waltz by Arthur Murray International, Inc. Ballroom dancing became Amy’s passion, and although she loved Miami and the opportunities it provided, her love of NH and being close to her family brought her home. Here in NH, she has taught at various facilities such as Debbie’s School of Dance and the NH Technical Institute in Concord. She also became a pageant consultant teaching young women how to maintain poise, posture and charisma on stage.

Amy believes there is nothing more romantic or meaningful than a couple’s first dance as husband and wife! For the past several years, she has worked independently with brides and grooms to create a first dance that will be memorable for them and their wedding guests for years to come. So whether you are a couple who wants to learn a quirky and fun dance or something refined and elegant, Amy would be happy to be your dance guide.
